March 3, 2010: AdValue Photonics published three papers in Optics Letters
TUCSON, Arizona. AdValue Photonics Inc, a manufacturer of fiber lasers, published three papers in Optics Letters in the areas of mode-locked 2 µm fiber lasers, Q-switched 2 µm fiber lasers, and single frequency 2 µm fiber lasers.
May 26, 2009: AdValue Photonics developed a new generation of 2 micron ASE source
TUCSON, Arizona. AdValue Photonics Inc, a manufacturer of fiber lasers, today announced the availability of a new generation of 2 micron ASE source with 3dB bandwidth of 85nm, which is more than two times broader than any other commercial near 2 micron ASE sources. This new product employs AdValue Photonics' proprietary innovative fibers developed under one US Air Force SBIR research project. AdValue Photonics will officially launch this new product at CLEO conference (PhotonXpo) next week in Baltimore, Maryland.
December 22, 2008: AdValue Photonics delivered 2 micron fiber amplifiers
TUCSON, Arizona. AdValue Photonics Inc, a manufacturer of fiber lasers, today announced the delivery of 2 micron fiber amplifiers. Multiple units of 2 micron fiber amplifier were delivered to a commercial customer.Â
October 21, 2008: President of AdValue Photonics is elected a Fellow of ACerS
TUCSON, Arizona. AdValue Photonics Inc, a manufacturer of fiber lasers, today announced that Dr. Shibin Jiang, President of AdValue Photonics Inc, has been elected a Fellow of The American Ceramic Society (ACerS). Dr. Shibin Jiang received this honor in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the glass sciences and technology.
Dr. Jiang is internationally recognized for research and development in the areas of rare-earth doped glasses and fibers, fiber lasers and amplifiers, and glass based photonic devices. He has authored and co-authored more than 110 publications, edited 12 proceedings books, and holds 24 issued US patents. He was awarded the prestigious Gottardi Prize in 2005 from the International Commission on Glass (ICG), and was elected a Fellow of the International Society for Optical Engineering (SPIE) in 2005. July 2008: AdValue Photonics expands its product line by introducing higher power fiber optical isolator.
The throughput power of polarization maintaining isolator at 1064nm increases to 20W.
May 2008: AdValue Photonics successfully launched commercial products at CLEO 2008, San Jose, California.
These commercial products include amplified spontaneous emission source near 2 micron, eye-safe fiber laser near 2 micron, and isolators for fiber lasers.
